Welcome to Wilding Wee Spaces

The Wilding Wee Spaces (WWS) team are here to support schools to create nature rich outdoor classrooms.

Any school who is gardening for wildlife can REGISTER their schools with WWS.

We will use your information to:
Support your school, linking up with local projects and funding
Track what schools are doing to contribute to city-wide biodiversity targets
Celebrate our collective achievements!
Our resources will guide you through the process of creating your own Wee Wild Space, from getting permission, to co-design, to creating the space, to stewarding the space for years to come.

We know that we are facing climate and nature emergencies, and action is needed from everyone. Many people feel anxious and helpless in the face of these of these crises.

We also know that humans are more disconnected from the rest of nature than ever before, and we need to change our relationships with our ecosystems to be more reciprocal, respectful, and sustainable.

Wilding Wee Spaces empowers schools to take positive action that will make a real difference. We hope this will empower the next generation to carry on making the positive change our planet needs.

Wilding Wee Spaces fits in with Learning for Sustainability, and supports teachers across all subjects to take learning outside.
