About Us

A City of Edinburgh Council OL&AE Team initiative to empower schools and early years centres in creating and stewarding ecologically rich spaces, onsite or on local parkland. These are co-designed with learners and used as outdoor classrooms, contributing to the Edinburgh Nature Network.

Wilding Wee Spaces empowers learners and teachers to take positive action, bringing Learning for Sustainability to life by making a real difference. Using a learner-led process, young people are more deeply connected to their Wild Wee Spaces and gain the skills to make change happen.
We hope this will empower the next generation to carry on making the positive change our planet needs.
